Books On My To Read List
My To Read (or Re-Read) Pile
01
The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen
This is a re-read. I read it last year and for the grief conference I want to re-read so it's fresh in my memory.
02
Looking for Alaska by John Green
I started reading this book when the grief over my brother was too recent so I had to stop. But I'm in a different place now. So I'm ready to tackle this book again.
03
Love Letters to the Dead by Ava Dellaira
I read this book a few weeks before my mom died in 2015. I remember it speaking to me so much though because of the death of my brother. I want to re-read this one for the grief conference.
04
A World Without You by Beth Revis
The synopsis of the book sounds up my alley. It deals with a main character whose girlfriend died and he is a time traveler that goes to a special magic school and time travels to try and prevent her death. I love time travel stuff and am a huge Harry Potter nerd (Ravenclaw represent!) so this should be interesting.
05
Part of Me Died Too: Stories of Creative Survival Among Bereaved Children and Teenagers by Virginia Lynn Fry
A non-fiction collection of stories from the mouths of children and teenagers. I just ordered it on Amazon yesterday.
06
All the Winters After by Sere Prince Halverson
I read 73 pages of this and then for whatever reason stopped, but I definitely want to revisit it. Kachemak Winkel's mother, father, and brother all die in a plane crash and he feel responsible. I'm not sure why I abandonded it.
